Heart Banana Pancakes Recipe

It’s the weekend and time for a delicious breakfast recipe! I shared this one a few years ago, but considering Valentine’s Day is on Tuesday I thought it would be a great one to share over again. Pancakes never go out of style.

We have an unspoken tradition in our home. For almost every holiday I make a themed breakfast. It’s not usually anything too fancy (especially with three kids running around!), but I love to create something fun and festive for my family. These heart pancakes are my favorite for Valentine’s Day. We usually indulge a bit on holidays, but this recipe is a bit on the healthier side which I figured out and tested a few years ago when Liv was little. They are so delicious and the kids love them, too!

This recipe is so simple to make, but if you want to make them even more festive for Valentine’s Day you can add pink or red sprinkles!

ingredients

  • 2 EGGS

  • 1 RIPE BANANA

  • 1/2 CUP OAT FLOUR

  • 1/4 CUP APPLESAUCE

  • 1 TSP VANILLA

  • 1/2 TSP CINNAMON

directions

  • Mash the banana using a fork or a blender

  • Add all the other ingredients to the same bowl and mix well

  • Cook on a greased skillet over medium, just as you would a normal pancake

  • Serve with berries and whipped cream or a delicious cup of hot coffee and enjoy!

Much Love,
