Kelowna Renovation: Native Trails

When I attempted to explain to our designer the style and vibe we wanted for our Kelowna home, her head was probably spinning! We wanted it to feel homey but modern, industrial but also cozy, farmhouse but . . . not really. Somehow, she gave us exactly what we wanted and I think she was able to achieve a lot of these aspects with details like our master ensuite bathtub! (Which so many of you were in love with when I showed a sneak peek on Instagram!) So, today’s blog post is dedicated to Native Trails, because adding their products to our home really elevated each of the rooms that they are a part of.

MASTER BATHROOM

The tub in our master bathroom really speaks for itself and it’s probably my favorite piece in our home. The overall look of the room is quite sleek and modern, with the vertical tiles and matte black accents, but the addition of the tub and trough sink really brings in the industrial, farmhouse vibes. These pieces keep the room feeling sophisticated and very neutral (which we all know I love!)

THE KITCHEN

We decided on the Farmhouse Double Bowl Sink in Ash for our kitchen. I LOVE the look of this concrete sink; it really brings a unique look to the kitchen. The sink is handmade by artisans using a sustainable blend of natural materials, but it is also practical and quite a bit lighter than other concrete sinks. I also love that it’s eco-friendly and has extraordinary stain, scratch and crack resistance.

GUEST BATHROOM

We also chose to carry the concrete, industrial yet farmhouse look into our guest bathroom. I’m so in love with how it turned out and I cannot wait for our guests to be able to use it!

With our sinks and tub, we also purchased the following:

I would highly recommend checking out Native Trails if you’re looking for fixtures for a kitchen, bath or anything similar. There are so many designs and shades to choose from, so you can get the exact vibe you’re going for. We’re already enjoying using these fixtures on a daily basis and I’m sure you’ll see so much more of them in my stories and blogs for years to come!

Much Love,
