Look for Less: Handbag Edition
Handbags are an accessory I’ve always loved and although splurging on designer handbags is fun and can be a real treat, sometimes buying the “dupe” is better if you’re experimenting with a style or simply can’t justify the price! I think all these “dupes” are fun and allow you to stay with the trends in an affordable way, they are made cheaper and wont last you through the years if used regularly. Below, I’ve listed my top splurge and save options right now.
SPLURGE: Bottega Veneta: the Cassette || SAVE: KingTo Woven Crossbody
SPLURGE: Bottega Veneta: The Pouch || SAVE: Luxiedor Dumpling Bag
SPLURGE: Jacquemus Le Chiquito || SAVE: Top Handle Mini

SPLURGE: Lemaire Leather Tote Bag || SAVE: The Drop Avalon
SPLURGE: Versace Medium La Medusa || SAVE: Bee Small Crossbody ||

In my opinion, investing in a nice bag is well worth it. For example, I use to have to buy a new wallet just about every year (anyone else over-stuff their wallet?) so I was spending maybe $80-$150 on a wallet every year. I finally bought a nice Alexander Wang wallet for $500, and guess what? I am still using that exact wallet 8 years later! Well worth the splurge.
If you are wanting a nice leather purse, but still want it to be reasonable in price I love to shop brands that are not as well-known like HAIST Designs. They have such classic shapes that never go out of style, but they do have interchangeable straps to keep it trendy and fun! I also love the Leatherology bags, good quality leather but you can your initials to make it unique.
I do get asked what my most used designer bag is, so if you are really in the market to splurge this Givenchy bag has been my every day go to for the last 5 years or so and I still love just as much as the day I got it. Couldn’t recommend it enough.
Whatever you decide to do, wear the bag with confidence and have fun with fashion!
Much Love,
