Whistler Ice Caves

Last year during our Breakfast Club event one of our auction items was a helicopter ride to the ice caves at Whistler donated by Headline Mountain Holidays. My parents ended up buying it, and since it was for 5 people they took Carey and me along.
We drove to Vancouver and flew out from there. We flew straight to the Ice caves and started exploring. It was one of the prettiest things I have ever seen, they say it is hard to date the ice but our guide estimates that it is at least 100k years old!

After touring the caves we had a gourmet lunch and then we were off in the helicopters again. The views from the helicopter were gorgeous, and we also got to see some wildlife! It was my first time seeing mountain goats and we also saw a black bear.

Lastly, we flew to a beautiful private location and hiked to natural hot springs that were on the edge of a river. The ice caves were a once in a lifetime experience so that was my favorite part, but this was a close second.

We relaxed in the hot springs for a bit before doing a little more exploring before getting back into the helicopter and headed back to Vancouver. We had such a great time if you ever have the opportunity you need to do this!

Much Love,
