36 Week Bump Update

How Far along: 36 weeks

Sex: We have held strong and have not found out yet!! 

Food:

  • Gotta Have: Fresh juices, matcha tea, the occasional tub of Ben and Jerry's 'Half Baked' haha 
  • Keep it Away: I am kind of turned off by chicken recently. 

Missing: Sleep!! I guess I am getting ready for that baby because I am up every couple of hours. Also walking up the stairs without running out of breath would be nice. 

Symptoms: Okay, so heartburn was a killer UNTIL my girlfriend shared a little trick with me. A shot of apple cider vinegar!  I would take a shot right before bed and make it through the night with no heartburn...amazing!
ow that the baby has dropped though I am definitely not feeling as great as I was. My hips and lower back are always aching, and my walk is slowly turning in to a waddle.

Weight gain: I am up 32lbs   

Stretch marks: I don't know if I am just lucky or if the creams actually work but no stretch marks. I am using The Honest Company Belly Balm. 

Maternity clothes: I have seriously come across so many great maternity clothing lines! I am going to put together a post of all my favorite brands here in the next couple weeks. I am currently crushing on Label By Legoe, which is the dress I am wearing in the above picture. 

Sleep: Haha what's that? 

Preparations: The basics in the baby room is pretty much done, so it is just finishing touches now. I am still reading like crazy! Can not wait to see what ends up working with our babe. 

Looking forward to: Finding out if we are having a little Phoebe or Phoebo. 

Exercise:  I was still making it to the gym at least twice a week and still doing kick boxing...my heart rate climbs so easily though that my workouts were becoming less and less intense. Now that the baby has dropped it may be just long walks from now on. 

On My Mind: Just anxious to see what life is going to look like once baby arrives!
