21 Week Bump Update

How Far along: 21 weeks

Sex: Still holding strong and not finding out. Was very tempting at our 20 week ultrasound though! We are continuously going back and forth with baby name ideas but nothing we both agree on yet. 

Food:

  • Gotta Have: Fresh juices, avocado toast and dark chocolate 
  • Keep it Away: I am still not loving raw veggies


Missing: Its that time of year….. spiked egg nog. 

Symptoms: I really can't complain, I have been feeling pretty good overall. I could do with out the headaches and heartburn though! My hips and lower back are starting to feel it as well, but are not too bad yet. 

Weight gain:  Just about to hit 14 pounds.  

Stretch marks: Luckily none yet. I just started using Marcelle products from Thyme Maternity so I will keep you updated on how I like it!

Maternity clothes: Just made my first purchase this week! My mom was in town so she helped me pick a few basic pieces from Thyme Maternity. Other than that I have started doing the rubber band trick to keep my jeans up. (I'm wearing the same H&M dress in the picture from my first bump update and Melanie Auld Jewelry.)

Sleep: Sleep is pretty on point these days, so I am enjoying it while it lasts. 

reparations: Finally started making some purchases this last week! I got the nursery furniture ordered so we feel like we are making some progress. 

Looking forward to: The hubs being able to feel the baby move. I first felt the baby at around 17 weeks.

Exercise:  Still trying to make it to the gym a few times a week.  Cardio is getting harder and harder for me though, so I am doing a lot of walking on an incline and hitting the elliptical.  With the holidays here (as well as cold season) I am not getting there as much as I would like. Excited to get back in to my routine in the new year. 

On My Mind: The size of my belly! I "popped" at week 18 and it has been growing like crazy ever since! I don't think the picture does it justice.
