Liv's 2nd Birthday Fiesta

Happy Thursday guys. I finally am sharing photos from Liv's Fiesta and as promised sharing where I got everything. Her party landed on Cinco De Mayo, so we went with the fiesta theme, but a more soft colored, desert theme. For decor, we used a lot we already had but then did purchase a few things that I think we can get a lot of use out of in the future. Once Liv gets a little older I see a lot of outdoor movie nights with those blankets and poufs!! We also went right to a Mexican bakery for all the desserts and the cake which was crazy cheap but more importantly delish! If you are in Tri-Cities we went to Rancho Bakery in Kennewick, would definitely recommend them.

My dad built the dessert table background. It was super easy, I picked up some distressed wood and then he did the dirty work! It turned out great, and we are actually keeping it for future parties.

Since there were more adults than kids at Liv's party we did a margarita bar, it turned out great and added some nice decor to the party. Then we just did some lemon-lime water and then a berry juice for the kids. The glass water and juice jugs were from Walmart but were leaking so I would not recommend them. The pitchers were from Target. Boxwood Hedge

My favorite part of the party was the Pinatas! We did one large one for the kids to hit, but then got these super cute mini ones to send home with the kids as 'fiesta favors' ( I say kids, but they were so darn cute even the adults were trying to snag one) They all came from Lula Flora Etsy shop. She was so great to work with and the quality is the best I have seen. I definitely recommend Lula Flora!

It is all about the details! I snagged these super cute plates which added a little extra decor to the party. We had a lot of young babies attending so we decided to go with some floor seating with just blankets and floor pillows. I also took our corn hole game and gave it a fresh coat of paint and added some cactus wall decals that I ordered from Etsy. Sugar & Cloth Cactus float Blanket / Floor pillow

The party was in my parent's backyard which is a large space so to fill some of the space we did a little present opening station. It was a hit, not only did it provide a cute area for Liv to open gifts but after it turned in to a little photo opt space for all the guests.
