Our baby girl is ten months old! How fun is this age?! Every day she seems like she is doing something new to steal our hearts. She also seems to be testing us a little more every day.
Hi, all! Yesterday I did a segment on Breakfast TV Montreal on getting your baby to sleep. If you missed it, you watch it here. I have also put all the information into a bit more detail in this post.
I hate the fact that I know so much about baby sleep issues. I don't know why wishful thinking I guess...but I always thought I would have a good sleeper. It must be because I need my sleep to have a productive day, or so I thought. Since little Liv was born though I have gotten used to the no sleep thing, and there was a point where I think I felt worse if I got a full night sleep.
Thankfully those days are behind us for the most part. Liv is now a pretty good sleeper, but it was something we had to work for. Today's post goes over all the gadgets and techniques we used to get Liv sleeping through the night. I covered everything from newborn through now.
Happy Sunday! I hope everyone is having a beautiful weekend. The hubs has been on the road a lot lately so these mornings when he gets to be with Liv are extra special. Liv is always at her best first thing in the morning; she wakes up full of smiles and giggles. I always feel bad that Carey has to miss out on that, but he got a few extra hours at home this morning! I caught him and Liv playing in her bedroom working on crawling, and I couldn't help but to get my camera.
Good morning! I am off to Breakfast TV montreal this morning to talk about flying with a baby. Liv and I just got back from the States Wendesday morning. It was a long day with three different flights...but everything went smoothly! We have flowen probably just about a dozen times already so I have gotten it down ptretty well now.
Here are some of the products and topics I went over on todays show. Watch the segment here.
Baby Carrier vs. Stroller
When I travel I use the Ergo Baby Carrier. I don't think the Ergo is any better than any other brand, just the one I liked. We used the wrap carrier when Liv was real little. I prefer using carriers over strollers while traveling, especially while traveling alone. When checking the stroller at the gate it can be quite the ordeal trying to fold up the stroller while holding the baby and it just seemed like the stroller wasn't worth the hassle. With the carrier you have your hands free and can maneuver through the airport with ease instead of always having to search for an elevator.
**Make sure you know how the carrier works prior to getting to the airport!!! I have seen a couple moms trying to figure it out for the first time at the airport...yikes! These things can be tricky so make sure you have it down before you leave home.**
